God speaks to us at the most unlikely times, which is amazing!

I enjoy cooking. Last week as I was preparing dinner for my family I noticed that I had far more than my family of four could eat in one or even two sittings. Quietly in my spirit I asked God who He would have me take a meal to.

He brought a former co-worker to mind. I knew she had been having some health problems lately but had not been in touch with her for over a month. I sent her a text asking if she would like some chicken parmesan and homemade bread for dinner the following night.

When I received her reply back I marvelled at the timing of God. Just the day before her mother had passed away. At that very moment she and her husband were busy with the funeral arrangements. Between that and her healthy problems she had barely had the energy to cook for her family.

What a blessing it was for her! Included with the meal I put a beautiful Scripture sympathy card. I love the opportunity to give cards focused on Christ because in a gentle way they point the reader to the One we love.

No matter what is on your addenda today, if you look to Him you never know who He might lead you to bless to today.
