I have been struggling with many difficult things in my life this past year. I have been pulling double duty at my job–basically working what amounts to be 2 full time jobs, working 6 days a week and many long hours. Needless to say at times I have felt completely overwhelmed.
There have been times in the not so distant past when I felt I could not continue on the path I was on. I felt like giving up. But then I made the decision to give it all to God. I prayed and asked the Lord to help me find the way, give me the strength to continue doing what I was doing and to help me keep my focus on Him. Now being human I have tried to take care of things myself even after asking the Lord to help me. I was not trusting Him and letting go. That is until I felt like I had nowhere else to go. I was losing my temper and just being over all cranky. I did not like myself!! So again I prayed for the Lord to give me strength, lead the way and to let His will be done. When I finally gave up control amazing things started to happen.
God wants us to give Him our cares and not take them back. He will take care of things not in our time but in His. Just trust and see what can happen. God is truly amazing!!!
