Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

There are days when I know the devil is weeping. Don’t get the wrong idea. It has nothing to do with me, but with God and the power He has given me. Not just because I wake up. Not just because I suit up in the Armor of God, but because I acknowledge the power God has given me by the blood of Jesus Christ, by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit within me.

We have a lot of choice these days. We can watch the Storm from safety. We can be overtaken by the Storm. We can BE the Storm. I am THAT person that goes out in the downpour, thunder and lightning and I dance. I raise my arms up to God and twirl around like a “crazy person”. I prefer the storm I can go out and face. The storm where I pray to God and say, Lord, the enemy has plan against me. Return them upon his head. Do not allow me to be used for his purposes. Romans 8:28 is the verse I go to when I believe the storm is beating me.

The devil whispered in my ear, “You’re not strong enough to withstand this storm.” Today I whispered in the devil’s ear, “I am the storm.”

That is one of my favorite sayings. Reminds me to trust in God and never rely on my own strength.
