Psalm 37:4 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
God’s protection is the best you can hope for. Security systems fail, fire alarms fail, people fail, but God never fails. Seek God and ask Him to protect what can be used in your life and let the rest go. Ask God to protect your home while you travel. Ask God to protect YOU while you travel. Those who trust God seek His protection because they FEAR God, NOT the world. It says right in this verse, the angel of the Lord not only encamps around us, but delivereth us.
I get all smiley when I think about God’s provision for us. Actually anytime I think on God, I get all smiley. What He has done for me since before I was born has only blessed and lifted me up. At night before I go to bed, I ask God to wrap His arms around me and keep me warm. He never fails. As the cold weather draws near, I know God will keep me warm. No question.
I love seeing scripture come to life in MY life. Especially when I know there are times I prayed for God’s protection when I sensed the enemy creeping up. I’ve also been very aware of the angel of the Lord’s presence just by the calming of my heart after my prayer. One of the greatest gifts is God teaching me to trust Him. God bringing me through so many trials to show me, to prove to my flesh filled mind that HE is trustworthy. God didn’t have to do that. God could have said, “You don’t trust me, that’s on you.”
We can look on the lives of others and say why didn’t you trust? Even the Biblical followers of God. Moses, Gideon, the Israelites and many more. Yet, how are much are we trusting Him with our lives?
I am so blessed God changed my life. So very blessed that He was more than patient enough to teach me to trust Him. Of all the blessings in my life, God’s love is the greatest. Through that trust I have also learned that I have protection at all times, in all places and against the enemy. God NEVER fails. There is NO substitute for His protection.
