What makes me a woman?
My compassion, my love, my passion, my gentle soul. That’s my answer.
What makes me a godly woman?
Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
Proverbs 31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Fear of the Lord. That makes me a godly woman. A woman that eschews evil and fears the Lord is the woman whose price is far above rubies. She seeks no one’s favor, but God’s. Her heart is upon God at all times. Her soul belongs to God above all else. There are few virtuous women and their price must never be challenged. God withholds her from the wrong men, to save and sanctify her for the right man. The one He created for her.
What makes me a godly woman is my fear of the Lord. A true gift from God, I must not sell myself short.
